Asied Raymond Debly

It is with heavy hearts, the family of Asied Raymond Debly, announces his passing which occurred unexpectedly on Sunday, May 21, 2017. Born November 28, 1959 in Saint John he is the son of Raymond and Janet (Dable) Debly.

Asied was owner and operator of Cedar Tree Contracting. He was the Canadian Bench Press Champion and was 2nd in the world for drug free bench pressing. He enjoyed Judo for many years and was passionate about his old cars and his Hot Rods.

He will be sadly missed by his sons Louis Debly (Autumn), Anthony Debly and Raymond Debly; daughter Tamina Debly; cherished grandchildren Marshall Debly and Aubrey Doyle; brothers Majid Debly (Kim), Habib Debly (Kara), Louis Debly, Kemal Debly (Nicolle), Wesley Debly (Zeina), Peter Debly and Joseph Debly; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his infant brother Raymond and brother Anthony.

Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Thursday, May 25 from 2 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Joseph’s Church on Friday, May 26 at 10 a.m. followed by a reception in the H.O.P.E. Center. A private family burial will take place at a later date.

Remembrances in memory of Asied made to the H.O.P.E Center or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
