Anna Alberta (Sneekes) Vanden Bos

It is with heavy hearts the family of Anna Alberta (Sneekes) Vanden Bos announce her passing on February 10, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  She was born in Castricum, The Netherlands on August 1, 1929 to the late Cornelius and Catherina (Boon) Sneekes. Anna was the loving wife of Marius Vanden Bos.

She is survived by her sisters; Nellie deWinter (John), Willemina Arisz (John), Catherine Bakkum (Jaap), Arcadia Hulsmann (Henning), and Brothers Simon(Anne), Cornelius(Corrie), Gerry (Theresa), sisters-in-law - Regina Sneekes, Irma Sneekes, Atie Sneekes, as well several nieces and nephews both in Canada and Holland.  Anna was predeceased by her parents, sister Maria, brothers Albert, John and Theo; sister-in-law Eva Sneekes and brothers-in-law Cornelius Beentjes and Henning Hulsmann and her in laws and several members of Vanden Bos Family in the Netherlands.

Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424).  A Funeral Mass will be held from the Chapel of the Chateau de Champlain (300 Boars Head Road) on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 2pm.  Memorial donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by her family.
