Albert 'Al' Michael Buchanan

The death of Albert Michael ‘Al’ Buchanan, husband of Sharon Buchanan, occurred unexpectedly on July 21, 2017.  Born in New Orleans, he was the son of the late Ronald and Ada (Taylor) Buchanan.

Al had worked the Lantic Sugar and was a taxi driver for many years.

Besides his wife, Al is survived by his children Michael (Mallory), Mark, Joshua (Jessica), Amanda (Matthew), Vanessa (Stephen), and Jolene, his sister Susan Walsh, his grandchildren Sophia  Kassidy, Evan, Stephanie, Malcolm, Maddex and Jace and his nephews Danny and John Walsh.  He will also be missed by his cats Todd and Pumpkin and his dogs Petals and Trinity.  He was predeceased by his brother Paul, brother in law James Walsh and nephews David and Chris.

The family welcomes relatives and friends to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.  The funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 9:00 am.  Memorial remembrances can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the New Brunswick Heart & Stroke Foundation.
