It is with broken hearts the family of Eldon Joseph Blanchard announces his passing on Tuesday July 8, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1958 in Saint John he was the son of Joseph and Theresa (Gallant) Blanchard. Eldon worked for School District 8 as a School Bus Driver. He was a member of the Loyalist City Amateur Radio Club Inc. Besides his parents he is survived by his loving wife and best friend Lynn (Parlee) Blanchard; special mother-in-law Anita Parlee; step-son Shawn Parlee (Tabitha) of Saint John; one granddaughter Autumn; sisters Susan Blanchard (Keith Bowland) of St. Martins and Esther Craig (Grant) of Saint John; several nieces and nephews and many special friends. He was predeceased by father-in-law Earl Parlee and brother Robert.

The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Thursday July 10, 2008 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Following the interment a reception will be held in St. Joachim’s Church Hall. The family would appreciate donations made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
